What is Diode mixer?
A diode mixer has two or more signals available into a diode. Whenever any sign or any signal pushes the voltage above the entry of the diode, current will run to the other side, but not back. If the inputs are the correct voltages, the effect is that the peaks of the new signal take place whenever either signals peaks, and the diode supplies the troughs by refusing to carry out backwards. The classical or the typical crystal set radio is a diode mixer, with an effortless or the simple electronic filter involving the antenna and mixer to remove unwanted radio stations. The Cheap AM radios still use this diode mixer.
